York St John University, Human Transferral

Human Transferral, an inter-disciplinary exhibition of work by Arts Faculty staff at York St John University.

2016 Young Curators are pleased to present Human Transferral, the galleries first exhibition of its kind showcasing the current work of the York St. John Faculty of Arts staff. Aside from teaching, the majority of lecturing staff at the university also work as practising artists within North Yorkshire area and further afield.
As students, George Coombs and Chantelle Exley, Rachael Bowe and Lois Batty within the faculty "we felt the need to highlight the artistic talents and diversity that our lecturers embody". This exhibition is a celebration of the artistic community of York St. John and the city of York as well as an opportunity for aspiring artists to gain an insight into the extensive potential of a career in the arts.
The exhibition showcases the work of artists Desmond Brett, Vannesa Corby, Sally Taylor, Lucy O'Donnell, Helen Turner, Ken Caffrey, Catherine Sutcliffe- Fuller, Stephen Mann and Chistina Kolaiti.
